In his presidential address he points to three powerful realities: the threat of devastating climate change due to significant rises in carbon dioxide (CO2) levels; the fact that energy is rapidly increasing in price; and that energy security is an issue. He points out that CIBSE membership includes everyone in the built environment supply chain and so is uniquely placed to involve all in a joint vision.
